Professional Speaker

Kayla Branstetter is a highly rated motivational speaker with 8+ years of experience as a women’s coach and group facilitator. Kayla works with individuals, groups, and organizations to amplify their authenticity and empower them to become a better version of themselves.

Don’t Be an Athena presents a raw, real look at the topic of women’s choices and experiences with trauma in which they were not able or allowed to exercise free choice. The speech will make audiences realize the depth and breadth of the issues surrounding sensitive topics. Don’t Be an Athena will open audiences’ eyes and expose realities that are often kept in the shadows.

  • Killing shame by creating a safe environment.
  • Strategies on getting women to safely talk to an authoritative individual
  • Learning how to empathize.

Kayla appreciates history and connecting the past to the present. Several of her website’s Blog posts focus on women of the past and how they helped shaped modern-day women. This talk is to empower women to walk their own paths, because the world is full of opportunities, and  women need to find the courage to take that first step.

Kayla suffered from infertility, a miscarriage, and judgement for being a working mom. Through her experience as a woman, coupled with her female students’ experiences, and her extensive research for her book, Kayla has a comprehensive understanding of what American women need. If you are ready to take the risk and jump into this conversation, then this talk is for you.

Kayla’s passion is writing and she enjoys sharing her knowledge and expertise with others. This talk would be perfect for high school students, college freshmen, or local libraries searching for community outreach activities.

Kayla has extensive experience in both 9-12 and higher education settings. She believes in the power of education, because it was her education that helped her escape poverty. This talk is perfect for back-to-school meetings. As an educator, Kayla strives to build positive relationships with her students, because classroom management and content will not mean anything without that relationship. She has written several anecdotal essays about teaching. Some of these experiences will help ease first-year teachers’ fears about teaching, and she will begin her session with one of these essays.
